Aerospace Grade AMS 5631 is a High-carbon and Chromium Martensitic Stainless steel. S44002 Offers properties of stainless steel together with excellent hardness and moderate corrosion resistance. It is used in dental and surgical instruments, valve parts.

This alloy is generally smelt in Basic Electric Furnace (EAF, AOD) or VIM + Electroslag remelting (ESR). It is suitable for applications such as high tensile shafts, bolts and nuts, gears, pinions spindles and so on.
