PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The alloy is usually produced by AOD / VOD /VIM followed by electroslag remelting (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose.
Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied black/bright in the annealed condition.
Final heat treatment - solution treatment

HEAT TREATMENT PRACTICE
Heat treatment is only suitable for specific grades of stainless steel. When heat treating a stainless the hardening temperatures, including rate of heating, cooling and soaking times will vary due to several factors such as the shape and size of each component. Other considerations during the heat treatment process include the type of furnace, quenching medium and work piece transfer facilities. Please consult with the heat treatment provider for whole guidance on heat treatment of stainless steel grades.

MAIN FEATURES OF STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel is one type of alloy steel that possesses properties of weak corrosive medium resistance, such as atmosphere, steam, water and chemical etching mediums like acid, alkali, salt and so on. Also known as stainless acid-resistant steel. In pratical applications, stainless steel means the property of weak corrosive medium resistance and of chemical etching medium resistance called acid-resistant steel. Because of the difference of chemical compositions, the previous steel may not resist chemical mediator corrosion and while the later generally possesses rustless property. The corrosion resistance of stanless steel depends on the alloying elements.

The basic alloying elements of stainless steel have also Nickel, Molybdenum, Titanium, Niobium, Cupper, Nitrogen, meeting different usages are for requirements of structure and performance of stainless steel. Stainless steels are easily etched by chloridion as the chromium, nickel and chlorine are isotopic elements, which will conduct the exchange assimilation and thus form the corrosion of stainless steel.
