CLASSIFICATION AND APPLICATION
Bearing steel is a type of steel used in the field of fabricating the ball, pin roller, sleeve for antifriction bearing. and also measuring implements, cold-punching die, lead screw and precision components of diesel engine oil pump. Bearing steel is divided into high-carbon chromium bearing steel, carburizing bearing steel, stainless bearing steel, high temperature bearing steel, medium-carbon bearing steel.
Generally, condition of delivery is hot rolled+annealing, cold drawn+annealing.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The
alloy is usually produced by LF /EAF /IFF /VD followed by electroslag refining (ESR) if necessary for special purpose. Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied black / bright in the annealed condition.
Final heat treatment - quenched and tempered.
