SHORT BRIEF
Grade Arnavar is a corrosion-resistant, nonmagnetic age-hardening alloy with good hot and cold working properties. A cobalt-base high strength alloy, it is characterized principally by its high fatigue resistance, high tensile strength and torque values. Arnavar is vacuum melted to ensure uniformity of composition and cleanliness of the metal.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Superalloy is widely used to produce the high temperature components for gas turbine in the field of aviation, naval vessels and industry, such as turbine blade, guide blade, turbine disc, high pressure compressor disc, combustor, and also production of energy conversion devices, such as aerospace craft, rocket motor, nuclear reactor, petrochemical equipments, coaly transforming and so on. The alloy is usually produced by AOD / VOD /VIM followed by electroslag refining (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose.
Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied bright surface in the solution annealed condition.
Final heat treatment - solution treated + Aged
