MATERIAL TYPE: Custom 475 stainless is a premium-melted, high-strength martensitic precipitation-hardenable alloy that provides good corrosion resistance to atmospheric environments. This alloy is capable of the highest strength levels of any commercially available precipitation hardening stainless steel, reaching over 280 ksi without the benefit of strain hardening prior to aging.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Superalloy is widely used to produce the high temperature components for gas turbine in the field of aviation, naval vessels and industry, such as turbine blade, guide blade, turbine disc, high pressure compressor disc, combustor, and also production of energy conversion devices, such as aerospace craft, rocket motor, nuclear reactor, petrochemical equipments, coaly transforming and so on. The alloy is usually produced by AOD / VOD /VIM followed by electroslag refining (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose.
Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels ccording to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied bright surface in the solution annealed condition.
Final heat treatment - solution + Aged

Round bar & Disc (diameter): 5.5mm to 850mm
Square bar / flat bar: 10mm to 450mm
