PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The alloy is usually produced by VOD / VIM followed by electroslag refining (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose. Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels according to the buyers' requirements.
Bars are usually supplied black/bright in the annealed condition.
Final heat treatment - solution treatment / QT

A nickel-chromium alloy similar to alloy 75 but made precipitation hardenable by additions of aluminium and titanium.
The alloy has good corrosion and oxidation resistance and high tensile and creep-rupture properties at temperatures to 1500ºF (815ºC).
Used for gas-turbine components (blades, rings, discs), bolts, tube supports in nuclear generators, exhaust valves in internal combustion engines.
